Earlier this month, it was announced that an unmarked motorcycle is to be used by police within Humberside, in an attempt to catch speeding bikers.
As part of Operation Achilles, Humberside Police are to use the unmarked bike to film bikers who are breaking the speed limit and / or riding irresponsibly; with the aim of reducing the number of bikers killed or injured on the regions roads.
Last year a similar operation saw roughly 200 bikers prosecuted over an eight month period; with over 40 being prosecuted for driving at speeds in excess of 85 mph.
