New driver offences solicitors

Once you have finally gained your driving licence, the last thing you want to do is lose it soon after. If you are a new driver facing the prospect of losing your licence then the specialist road traffic offence solicitors at Minton Morrill can help.

New drivers will have their licence revoked if they accumulate six or more penalty points within two years of passing their test, including points carried over from their provisional licence.

Having six or more points on your provisional licence does not mean losing your licence immediately after passing your test, but incurring any further points will result in your licence being revoked.

If you lose your licence, you will need to reapply for your provisional licence, and then retake your theory and practical tests, regardless of how experienced a driver you are.

At Minton Morrill, our specialist road traffic offence solicitors are experienced in helping motorists retain their licences by arguing a case of exceptional hardship.

To find out more about how our road traffic offence solicitors in Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Yorkshire and the wider North of England can help you, please contact us.
