Emily Bridge

I joined Minton Morrill in 2019 as a paralegal in the Civil Liberties Department.  I predominantly work in the inquest department, working with bereaved families to help them obtain answers about their family member’s death.

Prior to joining Minton Morrill, I gained vast experience working in the legal sector having graduated with a psychology degree from Leeds Beckett University in July 2017.

I help families through the inquest procedure as part of a dedicated team.  My work includes preparing for the inquest, applying for Legal Aid funding and representing the family at Court alongside a specialist advocate. The inquests we work on concern a variety of circumstances, including deaths of vulnerable individuals in state detention.  I am motivated by a passionate belief in the importance of upholding and protecting the rights of vulnerable individuals.  I am also a member of the Young Legal Aid Lawyers group
