"Very professional and up front."
I am a Consultant Solicitor, based in the Civil Liberties Department. I have now been qualified 32 years and over those years have gained useful experience in both criminal law and personal injury litigation which has greatly assisted in litigating current civil claims involving the police and the Ministry of Justice.
My work to date exclusively relates to pursuing claims against various police constabularies, particularly in the northern sector of the country in relation to false imprisonment, assault, misfeasance and malicious prosecution and breach of data protection.
In addition, I am also involved in personal claims against other detaining authorities such as the Ministry of Justice in relation to claims of false imprisonment, negligence and claims for damages under Articles 2 and 8 of the Human Rights Act 1998.
I am currently a member of the Inquest Lawyers Group, the Police Actions Law Group and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
